Hi guys. How has it been? Have prices of foodstuffs come down in your area? That would be such a relief!!
We are still on Sapa: Food & Groceries. We want to look at another way to reduce household costs and that is "MIY" - Make It Yourself.
Living and working in the city might mean having greater demands on your time. Sometimes, it just makes sense to buy stuff. You get what you need done quickly.
However, where it is possible, one can choose to make things yourself. The jury is still out on whether this is cheaper or not. But, some 'MIY' for health, safety and other personal reasons.
Some things people 'MIY' include pap, garri, cereal, fruit juices, baby foods, snacks, liquid soap & so on.
What other things do you 'MIY' in your home?
